On Top

On Top is an addition and renovation project of a triplex in Park-Extension neighborhood. The addition of a complete storey as well as a rooftop terrace will bring together a whole family under the same roof. In respect of the original aesthetic of the building, the added storey was designed in the continuity of the second floor on the front facade. At the back, it asserts itself with a metal siding. The vertical circulation was revisited to increase its fluidity and to connect all four units, the courtyard and the rooftop terrace. An english courtyard was created to bring more light in the common space of the basement’s unit.
