UQROP – Birds of Prey Interpretation Centre

UQROP is an organization dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey and their natural habitats. In partnership with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal, the center welcomes and provides care to more than 450 birds a year from all over Quebec. The interpretation center located in St-Jude will be open to the general public thanks to its educational spaces. In cohesion with this objective, the building will be respectful of its environment and aims for a Net Zero energy balance and Zero Carbon certification. This project is in collaboration with Concordia University’s Center for Zero Energy Building Studies.
